Tailor a CV to a specific job -
it is vital to ensure the script is relevant to each job application, rather than sending the same generic CV.

Keep it simple -
it should be easy to read and use active language. Two pages of A4 is enough with a mini profile included in the first half page of the CV.

Include key information -
personal details, including name, address, phone number, email address and any professional social media presence should be clear. A date of birth is no longer needed, owing to age discrimination rules. A photo is only essential for jobs such as acting and modelling, otherwise it is a matter of choice.

Showcase achievements -
offer evidence of how targets were exceeded and ideas created, but always be honest.

Check and double check -
avoid sloppy errors, take a fresh look the next day and ask for a second opinion from a trusted friend or colleague.

Housing Allocations Officer -
Bromley


Rate of pay: £14 per hour (approx). Duties would be to ensure that suitable nominations to social, private sector, temporary and supported housing are made within the appropriate timescales and in accordance with legislative requirements, local guidelines and procedures. The ideal candidate should have experience in housing, be able to deal with a heavy and fastpaced workload, have excellent computer literacy and have excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude. The role is temporary for at least 3 months but will most likely be extended and is to work a 36-hour week.

  Property
Manager
-
East Greenwich


Salary: £26,000 plus commission. Experienced Property Manager required with an Estate Agents in East Greenwich, required to set up and organise viewings with prospective buyers and tenants, checking of property and inspections, dealing with tenant and buyer enquiries and sales negotiation. Hours: 8:45am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturday's but will have a day of in lieu. Driving licence and car ownership is essential as the role will include travel. ARLA qualification would be desirable but not essential.



  Payroll
Administrator -
Bromley


Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum plus benefits, including a company pension scheme. Experienced Payroll Administrator required to work with a well established firm of accountants in Bromley. Duties to include: preparing up to 1000 client payrolls in a busy team of 7 to 8 staff; dealing with Auto enrolment; dealing with clients by email and telephone; dealing with HMRC queries; use of IRIS payroll (previous experience desirable but not essential); working hours: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week).

 



 
School Crossing Attendants -
Bromley, Orpington, Biggin Hill


Rate of pay: £9.63 per hour. Part time School Crossing Attendants required to work with various junior/primary schools in the Bromley borough assisting children across the road before and after school during term time. The role will be for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week (10 hours per week). Full training will be provided. A recent enhanced DBS check will be required.

  Postroom
Operatives -

London (all areas)


Rate of pay: £8.00 per hour.
Required in all areas of London on both a part time and full time temporary basis, to work within the postrooms of banks, solicitors and letting agents. Would suit students and people looking for additional part time work.
  Maintenance
Person -

Catford


Annual salary: £24,000 per annum. Maintenance Person required to work with a property management company in Catford. The duties would include going to various properties and undertaking general maintenance duties as required. Knowledge of carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing and general handyman duties would be highly desirable. A driving licence would be required. Company vehicle would be provided.

Cleaners -

Central London


Rate of pay: £9.25 per hour.
Office cleaners required to work with a large, financial institution in Central London near St. Paul’s. The successful candidates would be required to work either an early morning or a late night shift (no later than midnight). A basic or standard DBS check would be required.

  Hospitality /
Events Staff -

Canary Wharf


Hourly salary: £9.15 per hour. Staff required to work various hours in a corporate events-based environment. Waiting, front of house and catering staff required on a weekly basis.

  Temporary School Administrator -
Bromley


Hourly pay: £11 per hour (35 hours a week, Monday to Friday). A temporary administrator is required with a school in Bromley for a 4 to 5 week period (minimum) to perform general admin and data entry duties. Previous experience within a school environment is required and previous SIMS experience is desirable.

   

   
Lettings
Negotiator -

East Greenwich


Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum (plus commission). Lettings Negotiator required with a well established firm of property managers and lettings agency in East Greenwich. Our client are looking for a young and enthusiastic candidate who has an interest in the property sector. No previous experience required. Duties to include: dealing with tenant enquiries, property checks and inspections, negotiating with prospective tenants, checking all paperwork and compliance etc and any other duties as and when required. A personable and well mannered candidate would be ideal as it is customer facing. Driving licence is essential.



  Admin/PA Staff for Local Authorities -
London & South East


All grades of office staff required for various long term, temporary office vacancies with local authorities in Central London and the South East. Previous council experience is beneficial although is not essential. Pay scale is dependent on role/experience. These positions are suitable for both graduates and experienced council administrators and are available on both a part time and full time basis.
