Tailor a CV to a specific job -
it is vital to ensure the script is relevant to each job application, rather than sending the same generic CV.

Keep it simple -
it should be easy to read and use active language. Two pages of A4 is enough with a mini profile included in the first half page of the CV.

Include key information -
personal details, including name, address, phone number, email address and any professional social media presence should be clear. A date of birth is no longer needed, owing to age discrimination rules. A photo is only essential for jobs such as acting and modelling, otherwise it is a matter of choice.

Showcase achievements -
offer evidence of how targets were exceeded and ideas created, but always be honest.

Check and double check -
avoid sloppy errors, take a fresh look the next day and ask for a second opinion from a trusted friend or colleague.

Payroll
Administrator

To work with a well-established chartered accountants in the Bromley area carrying out completion of several monthly client payrolls, issuing of payroll statements and other documents, processing statutory payments and court orders etc. Experience required: minimum of 3-4 years previous payroll experience; moderate to advanced Excel skills; an understanding of Tax and National Insurance and the ability to perform manual calculations would be desirable; sound payroll legislation knowledge; an understanding of employment law including Maternity, Paternity pay and National Minimum Wage; payroll system experience (IRIS Payroll used in-house). Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (full time, Monday to Friday). Hybrid hours available: 50% working remotely and 50% working within the office.

A sales and target driven person required, ideally with a minimum 2-3 years experience. There will be potential to value properties. Full driving licence will be required and a car allowance is provided. Saturday’s required from 10am – 3pm with half a day off in lieu. Candidate will be required 4 days in the office and 1 day working at home. Salary: £34,000 per annum (guaranteed). Start date: ASAP.

Required to work full time with a busy NHS hospital based near in Central London. Job purpose: to support the provision of a timely and reliable portering service to wards and departments throughout the hospital including any Residential Accommodation.  This will involve all forms of non-patient logistic tasks, patient movement, medical gas movement, ad hoc requests and the use of radio and similar communication systems to ensure the smooth running of the service. Shifts times available: 6:45am - 2:45pm; 12:45pm - 10:15pm; 12pm - 8pm; 10pm – 6am (night shift). Shifts are available Monday to Sunday candidates must be flexible with the hours and days. All successful placements are subject to an up to satisfactory enhanced DBS check. Rate of pay is £11.28 per hour. Start date ASAP.

Cleaners

Warren Street, NW1


Required to clean wards, beds and offices within a hospital environment to a high standard. Knowledge of hygiene practices within a care of healthcare environment are desirable. Available shifts are: 7:30am – 4pm, 10am – 6:30pm, 9am – 5pm or a night shift of 10pm - 6am. The position is an ongoing, rolling temporary contract with no fixed end date. Post subject to a satisfactory DBS check. Rate of pay: £11.28 per hour. Full training to be provided. Start date: ASAP.

  Trainee Negotiator
(Estate Agents)

Battersea


A career focussed and target driven candidate required to work on a full-time permanent basis. No previous experience in this sector required, but some experience in retail and customer care would be highly beneficial. Potential of working 4 days in the office and 1 day at home. Education level: A Level’s or undergraduate degree preferred. Occasional Saturday’s may be required (hours 10am – 3pm). Driver’s licence will be required. Gross salary: £22,000 - £27,000 per annum (may vary based on commission earned). Start date: ASAP.

  Junior Travel Insurance Advisor
Bromley


Junior Travel Insurance Advisor required to work on a permanent basis with a well-established form of insurance brokers in Bromley. The duties would be to help to provide travel insurance cover for people travelling abroad. Thoroughness, excellent telephone manner and good administrative skills are required. Full training and comprehensive will be provided. Would suit school leaver or graduate. Excellent prospects and chance for growth and progression. Hours: 9am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time Assembly Line Workers

Temporary Assembly Line Workers required to assemble small communications equipment such as earpieces and microphones. Full training and health and safety briefing will be provided and some soldering may be required once confident with all of the requirements on the role. Good hand eye coordination is essential. Experience in hands on roles as well as soldering experience would be advantageous but not essential. Working hours are 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (16/21 hours per week). Day of work can be flexible. Rate of pay: £10.50 per hour. Start date: ASAP.

  Corporate Receptionists

Required at various shared office spaces, residential and council buildings across London both on a full time or part time temporary basis. Corporate experience is desirable but not essential. Dress code is smart, corporate office attire. Receptionist are required on a constant basis but must be flexible with regards their availability. Hours required: 8am – 5pm, 9am – 6pm, 7am – 7pm (subject to variation). Rate of pay: £10 - £11 per hour (dependant on assignment).

Minute Takers required to take comprehensive and detailed minutes of panel meetings in a local authority environment. Fast and accurate typing speed required (60 wpm). All contracts will be full time (36 hours per week) for a minimum of 3 - 6 months. Rate of pay: £11.00 - £12.33 per hour.

London & South East


All grades of office staff required for various long term, temporary office vacancies with local authorities in Central London and the South East. Previous council experience is beneficial although is not essential. Pay scale is dependent on role/experience. These positions are suitable for both graduates and experienced council administrators and are available on both a part time and full time basis.
