Tailor a CV to a specific job -
it is vital to ensure the script is relevant to each job application, rather than sending the same generic CV.

Keep it simple -
it should be easy to read and use active language. Two pages of A4 is enough with a mini profile included in the first half page of the CV.

Include key information -
personal details, including name, address, phone number, email address and any professional social media presence should be clear. A date of birth is no longer needed, owing to age discrimination rules. A photo is only essential for jobs such as acting and modelling, otherwise it is a matter of choice.

Showcase achievements -
offer evidence of how targets were exceeded and ideas created, but always be honest.

Check and double check -
avoid sloppy errors, take a fresh look the next day and ask for a second opinion from a trusted friend or colleague.

Managers -


Salary starting at £20,000 per annum (depending on experience) but can be up to £26,000 per annum. The role will also be commission based with the prospect of an additional £2000 per annum being earned based on performance. Up to 4x Property Managers required to work with a well established and fast expanding firm of estate agents in Bromley. Knowledge of lettings and the current rental market will be essential. The ideal candidate will have experience of building maintenance and portfolio management. Clean driving licence and access to own vehicle is mandatory. Hours: 8:45am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (plus every other Saturday). Start date: ASAP.

Operatives -

Central London

Rate of pay: £8.50 - £9.75 per hour. Postal Operatives required in and around Central London to work with law firms, property developers, media companies and office blocks. The duties would include the sorting and distribution of mail around office buildings. Required on an ad hoc and full time basis.

  Christmas Postroom Operatives -

Rate of pay: £8.50 per hour plus a £20 per week travel allowance. Required to work with a broadcasting company in Isleworth, West London (nearest station is Syon Lane). Duties to include the sorting and distribution of mail and parcels around office buildings. The role is working a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday from Monday 26th November until Friday 21st December (4 weeks). No previous experience required.


School Crossing Attendants -
Bromley, Orpington, Biggin Hill

Rate of pay: £9.63 per hour. Part time School Crossing Attendants required to work with various junior/primary schools in the Bromley borough assisting children across the road before and after school during term time. The role will be for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week (10 hours per week). Full training will be provided. A recent enhanced DBS check will be required.

Negotiators -

West Wickham & Welling

Salary: £18,000 per annum plus uncapped commission. Required to work with a fast expanding and well established firm of estate agents. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, who is target driven and has an excellent work ethic. Knowledge of the current rental market would be highly desirable. Clean driving licence is essential as is the ownership of a car. Start date: ASAP.

Cleaners -

Central London

Rate of pay: £9.25 per hour.
Office cleaners required to work with a large, financial institution in Central London near St. Paul’s. The successful candidates would be required to work either an early morning or a late night shift (no later than midnight). A basic or standard DBS check would be required.


Temporary Reprographics Operatives -
Central London

To cover for leave and absence at various sites around Central London, working with solicitors, law firms, financial institutions etc. Previous reprographics experience is essential. The positions are temporary in nature - hours may vary. Please enquire for pay rates.

  Hospitality /
Events Staff -

Canary Wharf

Hourly salary: £9.15 per hour. Staff required to work various hours in a corporate events-based environment. Waiting, front of house and catering staff required on a weekly basis.

  Admin/PA Staff for Local Authorities -
London & South East

All grades of office staff required for various long term, temporary office vacancies with local authorities in Central London and the South East. Previous council experience is beneficial although is not essential. Pay scale is dependent on role/experience. These positions are suitable for both graduates and experienced council administrators and are available on both a part time and full time basis. Civil Enforcement Officers -
Bromley & Bexley

Salary: £17,901 - £18,785 pa (£8.10 - £8.50 ph) Dependent on Experience. Civil Enforcement Officers required in the Bromley and Bexley areas to ensure that drivers follow parking regulations on public streets and in car parks. Hours: 42.5 hours per week + (various shift patterns between 07.00 – 22.30). The role also offers pension, training and development and employee discount scheme. Employment subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
Job Type: Full-time.

  Administrative Staff (Local Authorities) -
Kensington & Chelsea

Pay rates start at £10 per hour. Various levels of full time, temporary staff required in the Kensington & Chelsea region to work with the local council. Positions range from Business Support to Management levels to work in social care, housing, legal and environmental services.
