Tailor a CV to a specific job -
it is vital to ensure the script is relevant to each job application, rather than sending the same generic CV.

Keep it simple -
it should be easy to read and use active language. Two pages of A4 is enough with a mini profile included in the first half page of the CV.

Include key information -
personal details, including name, address, phone number, email address and any professional social media presence should be clear. A date of birth is no longer needed, owing to age discrimination rules. A photo is only essential for jobs such as acting and modelling, otherwise it is a matter of choice.

Showcase achievements -
offer evidence of how targets were exceeded and ideas created, but always be honest.

Check and double check -
avoid sloppy errors, take a fresh look the next day and ask for a second opinion from a trusted friend or colleague.

Temporary Senior Business Support Officer

To record panel records, update and maintain panel information and databases and minutes of meetings whilst supervising two other business support staff. To work in a children’s social care setting. Experience in children’s social care is essential. Start date: 21st June 2021. Contract length: 8 – 12 weeks. Salary: £13.89 per hour (36 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
  Sales Progressions Operative
Beckenham


Required to manage the sales progression process from concept to completion ensuring all parties are kept informed whilst helping to develop organisation processes and audit. Knowledge of Salesforce/CRM's an advantage as well as a strong commercial awareness. Hours: 9:30am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. Start date: ASAP. Contract length: ongoing (month by month). Salary: £12.50 per hour.




  Assembly Line Workers
Beckenham


Temporary Assembly Line Workers required to assemble small communications equipment such as professional earpieces. Training will be provided and some soldering will be required. Good hand eye coordination is essential. Working hours will be dependent on workload and the role will be ongoing. Rate of pay: £10 - £10.50 per hour. Start date: ASAP.

 


 
   
Junior Travel Insurance Advisor
Bromley


Dynamic and driven individual required to work with an insurance brokerage in the Bromley area. Duties would include researching quotes, updating client database, assisting with renewals and providing excellent customer service. Excellent people skills and self-managements skills are essential. Would suit a school leaver / someone who has completed their A Levels. Salary: £16,000 per annum. Hours: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Start date: ASAP.


  Motor Insurance Account Handler
Bromley


Required to work within a brokerage in Bromley. This is a client facing role relating to all types/aspects of motor insurance policies. Duties to include: researching and providing new quotations; managing renewals and ensuring timely renewal of policies; proactively liaising with clients and assessing their ongoing requirements; running a diary management system. Knowledge required: suite of Microsoft office Products; understanding of the principals of insurance broking; the Data Protection Act; FCA Protocols; GDPR. Previous experience in the insurance sector is essential. Starting salary: £20,000 per annum. Working hours: 9am – 5:30pm.

  Business Support Officers (Social Care, House, Education)
Local Authorities in Greater London


Various levels of experienced Business Support and PA staff required to work on 3 – 12 month temporary contract with various local authorities in Greater London. Full time (36 hours) and part time (30 hours or less) positions are available with salaries starting at London Living Wage and upwards dependant on the requirements of the role. Duties would include mowing, trimming, edging, garden clearance etc. Would also suit a retired or semi-retired gardener who may want to do only 1 or 2-days per week. Required in a busy Postroom of a multinational firm for 3 weeks starting on Monday 17th May. Duties to include sorting and delivery of mail around a corporate office. Hours are 8am – 4pm with a paid lunch break. Smart attire is required. Rate of pay: £10.50 per hour.

London & South East


All grades of office staff required for various long term, temporary office vacancies with local authorities in Central London and the South East. Previous council experience is beneficial although is not essential. Pay scale is dependent on role/experience. These positions are suitable for both graduates and experienced council administrators and are available on both a part time and full time basis. Duties to include: speaking with clients and taking them through the sales process; proactively chasing up renewals; organising quotations and searching for the best quotations to match client's needs; collecting payments; unning and maintaining a diary system. Knowledge of FCA regulations, GDPR and MS Office suite is required. Previous experience working in the insurance industry is essential. Hours: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
