Tailor a CV to a specific job -
it is vital to ensure the script is relevant to each job application, rather than sending the same generic CV.

Keep it simple -
it should be easy to read and use active language. Two pages of A4 is enough with a mini profile included in the first half page of the CV.

Include key information -
personal details, including name, address, phone number, email address and any professional social media presence should be clear. A date of birth is no longer needed, owing to age discrimination rules. A photo is only essential for jobs such as acting and modelling, otherwise it is a matter of choice.

Showcase achievements -
offer evidence of how targets were exceeded and ideas created, but always be honest.

Check and double check -
avoid sloppy errors, take a fresh look the next day and ask for a second opinion from a trusted friend or colleague.

Interim Public Health Business Partner -
Central London

Salary: £44,496 (pro rata). To work with a local authority in Central London. Personal specifications: Self-starter, they have to hit the ground running; and make this role their own; they need to have a real passion for Public Health/Adult Social Care; experience of business report writing and presenting to senior individuals/ executives; excellent Microsoft Office skills; must have first class influencing, negotiating and relationship management skills; can work with programme portfolios and ensure that the programme will reap benefits for everyone; exposure to matrix management working. PA -

Central London

Salary: £35,000 per annum. To provide full secretarial support to fee earners and partners, coordinating diaries, meetings, appointments and mailboxes. An undergraduate degree and LPC qualification will be required as well as a minimum of 1 year’s previous PA experience. Core hours: 9:30am – 5:30pm.

  Admin/PA Staff for Local Authorities -
London & South East

All grades of office staff required for various long term, temporary office vacancies with local authorities in Central London and the South East. Previous council experience is beneficial although is not essential. Pay scale is dependent on role/experience. These positions are suitable for both graduates and experienced council administrators and are available on both a part time and full time basis. Printroom Workflow Coordinator -
Central London

Salary: £28,000 per annum. Required to manage and coordinate the work flow in a busy print room within a large international law firm in Central London. Duties to include: delegating workload and assigning tasks to print operatives; quoting for prints; ensuring the prints are delivered to a high standard and on time; handling the departments queries and complaints and providing excellent customer service.

Operatives -

London (all areas)

Rate of pay: £8.00 per hour.
Required in all areas of London on both a part time and full time temporary basis, to work within the postrooms of banks, solicitors and letting agents. Would suit students and people looking for additional part time work.
Cleaners -

Central London

Rate of pay: £9.25 per hour.
Office cleaners required to work with a large, financial institution in Central London near St. Paul’s. The successful candidates would be required to work either an early morning or a late night shift (no later than midnight). A basic or standard DBS check would be required.


Driver -


Rate of pay: £9.00 per hour. A handyman/driver required in the Bromley area to undertake general handyman / techinical duties (use of tools will be required) as well as driving of various vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. An HGV licence would be desirable. Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday (full time). Contract length: 3 months plus.

  Temporary Parking Attendants -
Greater London

Rate of pay: £9.00 per hour. Parking Attendants required across the Greater London areas including Hounslow, Ealing, Bexley and Brent. These vacancies are temporary and can be available on a part time or full time basis.

  School Crossing Attendants -
Bromley, Orpington, Penge

Rate of pay: £9.63 per hour. Part time School Crossing Attendants required to work with various junior/primary schools in the Bromley borough assisting children across the road before and after school during term time. The role will be for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week (10 hours per week). Full training will be provided. A recent enhanced DBS check will be required.


Cleaner -


Rate of pay: £9.10 per hour. Driver/Cleaner required to ensure the safe transportation of a team of cleaners from various residential sites in South East London. Other duties such as ensuring that properties are up to a high standard of cleanliness and that all waste and unwanted materials are removed from the site. Use of cleaning materials will be required. A full, clean driving licence is required. Working hours: 9am - 6pm (30 minutes lunch), 42.5 hours per week.

Events Staff -

Canary Wharf

Hourly salary: £9.15 per hour. Staff required to work various hours in a corporate events-based environment. Waiting, front of house and catering staff required on a weekly basis.
